Angelo is one that SPECTRE uses as their undercover man to hijack the Vulcan. Being a double of the original man, he assumes that role and goes through with the plan.

Angelo: The rest of my money... just have it ready.

He makes the mistake however of wanting more money, something that Fiona Volpe merely agrees with and then tells of it to headquarters. Emilio Largo later kills him when he lands the plane underwater.
