He welcomes Bond, under the guise of [[films:characters:sir-hilary-bray|Sir Hillary Bray]] to his technical institute, Piz Gloria. There, Blofeld has been systematically brain-washing his female patients into following his orders when he launches the Virus Omega attack. > **Blofeld**: You’ll be very helpful in convincing them that I mean what I say…and I’ll do what I claim. Very suave and calm, Blofeld seems to outdo Bond in every way he can, and show that he is in complete control at all times. Blofeld chases after Bond along with his men on skis, and then later on in the film triggers an avalanche that knocks Bond and [[films:characters:tracy-di-vincenzo|Tracy]] off their feet. Bond and Blofeld then battle in bobsleds at the finale of the film, with Bond thinking he’s one when Blofeld’s neck gets caught in a tree branch.
