Betrayed. Abandoned. James Bond spends over a year in a North Korean prison only to have his freedom traded for that of [[films:characters:zao|ruthless terrorist]]. Released into a changed world, Bond heads out to hunt down those who betrayed him and to re-earn his licence to kill. > **James Bond**: I'm looking for a North Korean. \\ > **Raoul**: A tourist? \\ > **James Bond**: A terrorist. James Bond returns and embarks on one of his most dangerous and daring adventures ever. Sent sent to intercept an illegal arms deal set to take place between an [[films:characters:van-bierk|African diamond smuggler]] and North Korean officer [[films:characters:gustav-graves|Colonel Moon]] with fellow operatives, James Bond learns that his cover has been blown. But how; and much more importantly, by whom? It is this event that sends an answer-seeking 007 out on a mission, even after his 007 status has been taken away by a very irritated [[films:characters:m|M]]. Along the way, Bond meets up with the sultry [[films:characters:jinx-jordan|Jinx]], the frigid [[films:characters:miranda-frost|Miranda Frost]], the egotistical [[films:characters:gustav-graves|Gustav Graves]] and eventually [[films:characters:zao|Zao]], the one he was originally looking for from the start. As he progresses in his journey, Bond finds out the identity of his traitor and learns of a plot that threatens to throw the world into chaos... > **James Bond**: Can I expect the pleasure of you in Iceland? \\ > **Miranda Frost**: I'm afraid you'll never have that pleasure, Mr. Bond. Once Bond is released from the Korean prison, as he is being traded for [[films:characters:zao|Zao]], he meets with his superior, [[films:characters:m|M]], and finds out that his licence to kill has been revoked. Bond then escapes and sets out to track down [[films:characters:zao|Zao]] and the person who betrayed him. He eventually learns that [[films:characters:zao|Zao]] is in Cuba and therefore leaves directly for it. Once there, Bond meets [[films:characters:jinx-jordan|Jinx]], a woman whose relationships don't last and has more of a backround than she initially divulges to Bond at first. Bond tracks down [[films:characters:zao|Zao]] to a clinic, but fails to capture him. He does however, get a link to [[films:characters:gustav-graves|Gustav Graves]], from the diamonds [[films:characters:zao|Zao]] was carrying; which are identical to African conflict diamonds as well. Bond heads to London and meets [[films:characters:gustav-graves|Graves]], as well as his publicist, [[films:characters:miranda-frost|Miranda Frost]]. They cross swords and Bond then gets invited to [[films:characters:gustav-graves|Graves']] Icarus demonstration in Iceland. Once there, Bond and [[films:characters:jinx-jordan|Jinx]] meet up again, and Bond learns that [[films:characters:miranda-frost|Miranda]] is a MI6 spy placed by [[films:characters:m|M]] to find out information about [[films:characters:gustav-graves|Graves]]. > **Miranda Frost**: Mr. Bond, and Miss...?\\ > **Jinx**: Swift, Space and Technology magazine. \\ > **Miranda Frost**: Really. I take it Mr. Bond's been explaining his Big Bang theory? \\ > **Jinx**: Oh...I think I got the thrust of it.\\ > **Miranda Frost**: I see. Things turn for the worse however. [[films:characters:zao|Zao]] and [[films:characters:gustav-graves|Graves]] eventually are reunited there again, [[films:characters:miranda-frost|Miranda]] is revealed to actually be on the side of evil, as well as being the traitor to Bond from the beginning, and Bond and [[films:characters:jinx-jordan|Jinx]] (who is an NSA agent) are both thrown into near-death experiences before they both miraculously survive; [[films:characters:zao|Zao]] being killed in the process. > **James Bond**: So you live to die another day. Bond and [[films:characters:jinx-jordan|Jinx]] then head after [[films:characters:gustav-graves|Graves]] and [[films:characters:miranda-frost|Frost]] on the Antonov plane where it is revealed that [[films:characters:gustav-graves|Graves]] will use his powerful Icarus satellite to take power in the world. [[films:characters:gustav-graves|Graves]] and Bond eventually face off, as well as [[films:characters:miranda-frost|Miranda]] against [[films:characters:jinx-jordan|Jinx]].
