The path is not easy however, with Bond having to unravel the 'Smiert Spionem' mystery involving the death of fellow agent 004, figure out who the beautiful [[films:characters:kara-milovy|Kara Milovy]] is allied to, as well as take on his enemies in the field... > **Linda**: It's all so boring here, Margo, there’s nothing but playboys and tennis pros. From Gilbraltar to Afghanistan, 007 travels the world to complete his mission and stop the evil criminals from completing their plans. It's a complicated plot that Bond must navigate himself through to save the day. James Bond witnesses the death of fellow agent 004; the assassin being killed after a high speed chase with Bond. Later on, Bond assists in helping [[films:characters:georgi-koskov|General Georgi Koskov]] seemingly defect. Bond's mission is to shoot the mentioned assassin before that enemy has a chance to kill [[films:characters:georgi-koskov|Koskov]]. Seeing the assassin is a pretty girl Bond saw earlier at a concert, Bond merely fires at her rifle, to scare, but not kill her. [[films:characters:georgi-koskov|Koskov]] later explains how his new superior, [[films:characters:general-leonid-pushkin|General Leonid Pushkin]] is the enemy to them all and must be stopped. What follows is an attack on the safe house that [[films:characters:georgi-koskov|Koskov]], [[films:characters:m|M]], Bond, and others, with [[films:characters:georgi-koskov|Koskov]] being taken away by the enemy. > **James Bond**: Whoever she was, I must have scared the living daylights out of her. Later on Bond meets the sniper, named [[films:characters:kara-milovy|Kara Milovy]], and discovers that she is actually [[films:characters:georgi-koskov|Koskov's]] girlfriend; the bullets were blanks. A complicated plot follows forward between eventual villains [[films:characters:georgi-koskov|Koskov]] and American [[films:characters:brad-whitaker|Brad Whitaker]]. They are trying desperately to make [[films:characters:general-leonid-pushkin|General Pushkin]] appear as the enemy. Bond sees through this with a cleverly planned idea and then later is captured by [[films:characters:georgi-koskov|Koskov]] when he confronts [[films:characters:kara-milovy|Kara]]. Bond finally discovers the full scheme as he is taken by [[films:characters:georgi-koskov|Koskov]] to an Afghanistan airbase: a sale of opium occurring will allow [[films:characters:georgi-koskov|Koskov]] and [[films:characters:brad-whitaker|Whitaker]] to finance an important arms deal they have, as well as turn a quick profit. Bond eventually gains the support of [[films:characters:kamran-shah|Kamran Shah]] and his men, and a great battle breaks out between both sides. Amidst it all Bond and [[films:characters:kara-milovy|Kara]] end up on a cargo plane full of the opium and a bomb. Bond kills the henchman [[films:characters:necros|Necros]], and drops the bomb on some of [[films:characters:georgi-koskov|Koskov's]] men. > **Brad Whitaker**: That's too bad, Bond. You could've been a live rich man, instead of a poor dead one. Later on, Bond confronts [[films:characters:brad-whitaker|Whitaker]] in his battle room and a great fight breaks out between the two with Bond winning thanks to a gadget from [[films:characters:q|Q]] Branch.
