Teaming up with a Russian agent, Bond must set out to discover the fate of a series of missing submarines and their nuclear arsenal. Travelling the globe, 007 encounters a host of dangerous new enemies, and beautiful women, in what has grown to be one of his most infamous adventures yet.
Log Cabin Girl: But James, I need you!
James Bond: So does England.
When, both British and Soviet submarines begin to mysteriously disappear, a global crisis erupts. With the prospect of war on the horizon, both governments deploy their most successful agents, suave British agent, James Bond, and the beautiful Russian agent, Anya Amasova, aptly code-named XXX.
In pursuit of a microfilm detailing the plans for what intelligence learns is a revolutionary, submarine tracking system, 007 finds himself travelling from the golden sands of Egypt, to the lush surroundings of Sicily in an attempt to unravel the mastermind tracking the vessels, and stop their devious plans before war erupts.
Hot on the trail of eccentric shipping billionaire, Karl Stromberg, Bond encounters a variety of exceptional rivals, such as the steal-teethed Jaws, and the stunning helicopter pilot, Naomi, to name but a few.
