The Walther PPK is first issued to James Bond in Dr. No by Major Boothroyd, when his Beretta is taken away. It delivers shots like a brick through a plate-glass window and has excellent stopping power. It has saved the life of James Bond on many of his missions and has been used to stop several of his main adversaries.
Bond has lost the PPK on numerous missions, always getting a new replacement from Q Branch. Professor Dent is the first unlucky victim of the powerful handgun in the famous scene in Dr. No.
The Walther PPK is 7.65mm and carries seven rounds.
This safe-cracking device is used by James Bond to breaking into the safe at Osato headquarters. The device cycles through possible numbers in the combination and then a light illuminates each time a correct number in the code has been found.
After the device had decrypted the combination, the alarm unfortunately sounded as Bond opened the safe.
This device is used by Bond when he appears dead and is given a burial at sea early on in the film. As he floats to the bottom of the water, covered in wrap, divers quickly come and take him aboard a submarine nearby. As they slice open the suit, a live James Bond is revealed, and the breathing device was removed from his mouth. He then requests permission to come aboard.
The suit has another layer of plastic below which can be un-zippered.
This “baby” rocket is useful to people who smoke too many cigarettes, as Tiger Tanaka says. The small rocket shell was concealed inside a cigarette and was fired upon lighting the cigarette. It exploded on impact and was useful on targets up to 30 yards away.
Bond used the cigarette to his advantage when Blofeld underestimates it and allows Bond to smoke. Bond then fires it at one of the control men, which allows him to then open up the crater to Tanaka’s men who are waiting outside.
Demonstrated by Tanaka to Bond, these rocket guns when fired exploded on impact. There are small holes in the back of the ammunition, and were used at the Ninja training school.
This innocent looking device was used by SPECTRE agent Helga Brandt aboard the plane she is traveling on with James Bond. After she applies it to her lips, she drops it to the floor, to which it then explodes and emits a grey smoke in the cabin. With the help of the wooden plank holding Bond down, it allowed Helga to make a quick escape from the plane.
James Bond uses this built-in helmet camera when piloting Little Nellie on his exploring of the island.
